The Woman, The legend; Etta James....

I've recently downloaded, a classic from one of the greatest female artist of the twentieth century. The name of the single is called All I could do was Cry, the song embarks on the anguish of a young women who dealing with a loss love due to another women. To make matters worse, her ex-lover marries the women. I could litterary listen to the song for hours on end because the singer, Etta James exposes her agony throughout the song, which is exactly why it is so relevant.

Music & Wor :DDDDDDDDDDssssssss

Stress is an "everyday" aspect of my life, even when there aren't any deadlines or drawbacks involved. However, I've acquired some remedies to defeat stress at least for a few. Like reading, writing, and Listening, to music that is. Once play rehearsals are over for the day you could probably find me absorbed in either a good book, such as the Thesaurus, or dictionary as well as my music. Another stress-reliever of mine would likely be writing weather it's poetry, songs, or just for the Hell of it!

Pearl Harbor, a connection of News through World affairs & controversy

Since Friday, Barth's History three classes have watched Pearl Harbor, the movie, starring Ben Affleck and Josh Harnett. The plot of the story includes two lutenuiets friends who rise to heroic status and mingle their way into a love triangle. President FDR, (Jon Voight) makes one of his fire-side chats corresponding to the sequence of events on the attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Within minutes, news prints were released with the breaking story.

The relevance of this scene in the film accesses the effect news media and print have on certain issues and people. In other words, editorials or journalism in general can inform those on significant events that have occured in both the past and present. For instance, I was reading USA Today pertaining to the death of Senator Edward "Ted" Kennedy. The article was directly devoted to his life as well as the lives of his prominent family. While reading I was curious to find out some mind-blowing facts about his secondary education, such as his suspension from Harvard due to violations (cheating) on a test, which I would have never known if not for the news.

Sponsor Time...!!!!

Finally I've spent time with my sponsor, and I thought that day would never come thank you Jesus!! I left on Wednesday early to see Mr. Barnum in Woodbury. I spent approximately about an hour or a little under a hour. During my stay Mr. Barnum and I went over my thesis, which was originally, "editorials promote pro-life and pro-choice based on morals."Of course it wasn't a good thesis as told by Mr.Abrams himself, but my sponsor came through and offered me a few suggestions.

My Sponsor...

I will be visiting my sponsor on Wednesday indefinitely. On Wednesdays of each week I'll be traveling to see my sponsor by either public transportation or by friend ( whose name shall not be mentioned) to the Glouster country times in Woodbury. Some obligations that may seem difficult will be the traveling process in itself. What I seek from my sponsor will obviously be their guidance and expertise on the topic of editorials and its origins. I also expect to do individual research on abortion, its origins, and moral stand points.

Did you know Potatoes.....

While I was watching Modern Marvels on the History Channel I found it amusing to acquire new information on a starch, yes a potato. According to biologist, Potatoes are closely linked to egg plant and tomatoes, but aren't biologically linked to sweet potatoes. They are also seventy five percent palatable in contrast to certain grain, which are only fifty percent edible.

On a more interesting note. I've just discovered that my Mom & Gmom are totally in awe with Twilight. Although, they have yet to read the novels, both of my relatives plan on seeing the newest addition coming Eclispe. For the majority of the weekend we all sat motionless as the block-busting motion picture protruded on our television projectors. It's true what they say you really do learn something new everyday...

Medicare & Abortion?? Huh

Today as I was eating my breakfast, I noticed that protesters were advocating for abortion to be covered by the new health care reform promoted by Barack Obama. Instead of cash, abortion is to be covered by certain insurances like Medicaid and medicare. Like the picture above, I also advocate for pro-life, since when did the llegalization of something as controversal as abortion justify the right to kill for profit? Somethings I'll never understand.
