Haiti: Nine days & counting...

Although, I haven't actually read a whole article during the week, I've read a small section of the New York times pertaining to the earthquakes of Haiti. Unfortunately, Haiti has been experimenting aftershock, smaller quakes usually associated with the original earthquake. The poverty-stricken country has endured earthquakes, hurricanes, and war, yet many charitable non-profits funds, such as the Red Cross and Fema have sent funding for the Haitians as well as many others. Profiting natural disasters has caused controversy over recent years. Conspiracies over misplaced finances, like the 2007 disaster Hurricans Katrina, where many were left without efficient shelter long after the Hurricane.wh

Knowledge....

I still have yet to get a sponsor. I'm praying that today will be the day, but who knows with my luck. During the weekend I realized that I have to be the smallest female in the production of Grease (weight) weighing in at approximately 101.2 lbs, I tried about 3 dresses before Ms. Trip, the crew , and I found my dress for the dance scene. Anyway, Sunday and Monday went by in a blur. While I was in a dazed slumber, I found myself captivated watching a marathon of Haunted History on History internal. I learned that king Henry the 8 was accountable for seven deaths during his reign including Ann Boelynn.

Weekend Growth/General knowledge

All aspects of my life are learning experiences. During my three day weekend ( absent on Friday) it dawned on me that I'm too weary of what others think about me. In other words, self-conscious. For about 10 years, I've always been focused on what "she" has done or how "he" thinks about me and for the longest time it has stopped me from doing many things. Subsequently, I become the expectations of those in my environment from being "me"

Good deeds & Maturity

When I hold a conversation with one of my freshmen, I address them as if they're an adult and give them the advantage of certain responsibilities, such as looking up their own grades. During extracurricular activities, such as LEO club and Bible club. I'm looked upon in a vanguard position. For instance I am vice president of Bible club, which requires me to update any relevant info. In LEO club I'm treasurer and it requires the maintance of finances for upcoming trips, forums, supplies, etc.

The Free Masons...

The story of the free masons is one that goes back to many centuries. It has recently caused controversy when the magnate excutive, enterprenuer, and rapper Jay-Z and other fellow artist have been linked to the secret. Which is exactly why I would obliged to writing on such a contentious topic and frankly shed light on the whole "supposed devil worshiping acult". If the chance presented itself, i'd fancy to publish a research paper consisting of the orgin of the Free Masons as well as the myths and facts of their antics.

"The Raven himself is hoarse." We've just recently finished up MacBeth. Thank YOu God!For the most part the story was some what melo- dramatic and had a sense of comic relief. Personally the vilianess, Lady Macbeth was admirable and enjoyable. Ultimately, She was the glue to Macbeth's temporary sanity & the entire plot to kill King Duncan, his best friend Banquo, and his son. Throughout the book both of the Macbeths struggle into their untimely demises.
